European cars also have a shorter wheelbase than local models.<\/p>\n<p>The junction assist system applies the brakes if the driver is exiting a junction and detects that an oncoming car could lead to a collision, which might have slightly boosted the Sportage&#8217;s safety assist score.<\/p>\n<p>All Kia Sportage models come standard with the following safety features:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>AEB with pedestrian\/cyclist\/junction assist<\/li>\n<li>Blind-spot assist<\/li>\n<li>Rear cross-traffic alert<\/li>\n<li>Lane-keeping assist<\/li>\n<li>Lane-following assist<\/li>\n<li>Intelligent speed limit assist<\/li>\n<li>Adaptive cruise control (except manual models)<\/li>\n<li>Reverse camera<\/li>\n<li>Rear parking sensors<\/li>\n<li>Front central airbag<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Sportage GT-Line adds:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>360-degree camera with 3D view<\/li>\n<li>Blind-spot view monitor<\/li>\n<li>Reverse parking collision-avoidance assist<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Hyundai Tucson has also achieved a five-star ANCAP rating.
