They are manufactured around a standardized parts package, weighing 1,650 kg each and boasting 536 horsepower, sufficient for a 0 to 100 km\/h time of 4.5 seconds.<\/p>\n<p>The Extreme E racing series is designed to raise awareness about climate change, visiting some of the world&#8217;s most affected habitats. McLaren&#8217;s entry into the series is also part of the company&#8217;s sustainability mission.<\/p>\n<p>All Extreme E cars are transported worldwide by ship.
