According to Carscoops, the idea originated from a driver who wanted to make his car, a Tesla, unique by removing the roof.<\/p>\n<p>To make the Tesla Model 3 convertible as realistic as possible, the driver also requested the removal of the rear door of the three-door sports car. Additionally, a canvas top was requested instead of a steel roof to provide protection from the sun, rain, and wind.
