A Large Battery and Advanced EV Technology<\/h3>\n

All GV90 models are built on Genesis’ new eMP (Electric Mobility Prime)<\/strong> platform, developed specifically for the electric flagship SUV. The vehicle is equipped with a 123.5-kWh battery<\/strong> and a dual-motor electric powertrain.<\/p>\n

Genesis estimates a range of around 310 miles<\/strong> for the standard seven-seat GV90, although that figure has not yet been confirmed by government regulators. With DC fast charging at up to 350 kW, the battery can reportedly go from 10% to 80% charge in about 22 minutes under suitable conditions.<\/p>\n

The electric system also incorporates technologies designed to improve battery management and safety. These include a cloud-based battery management system capable of monitoring real-time diagnostics and identifying potential anomalies. The battery pack also features thermal runaway protection designed to limit heat propagation between cells and reduce the risk of fire. 657 Horsepower and All-Wheel Drive<\/h3>\n

The GV90 uses electronically controlled limited-slip differentials on both axles. This system allows the vehicle to manage torque distribution across all four wheels without relying on four individual electric motors.<\/p>\n

Total output reaches 657 horsepower<\/strong>, while torque is rated at 590 lb-ft. Genesis has not yet disclosed the vehicle’s curb weight, although its seven-seat configuration and large battery suggest that the GV90 will be a substantial SUV.<\/p>\n

To manage its size and weight, the GV90 features a multi-chamber air suspension, dual-valve monotube dampers and rear-wheel steering. Four-piston brake calipers provide additional stopping power.<\/p>\n

If the electric technology is one of the GV90’s biggest highlights, the cabin may be its most striking feature. The cabin also features a 3D surround-sound system from Bang & Olufsen with 25 speakers<\/strong>, turning the GV90 into something resembling a private cinema when the vehicle is stationary.<\/p>\n

The GV90 also eliminates the traditional start button. Once the driver enters and activates the vehicle, the gear selector automatically moves into its operating position.<\/p>\n

GV90 Neolun: An SUV Without a B-Pillar<\/h3>\n

The most spectacular version of the lineup is the GV90 Neolun<\/strong>. Its most distinctive exterior feature is its coach-style rear-hinged doors, but Genesis takes the concept even further by eliminating the B-pillar.<\/p>\n

The absence of the central pillar creates a huge opening when the front and rear doors are opened. Genesis says it has reinforced the vehicle’s structure to maintain the necessary rigidity, using a frame that is 1.5 times thicker than those found in conventional vehicles.<\/p>\n

The SUV also features a new roof-mounted airbag<\/strong> designed to provide additional protection in the event of a rollover.<\/p>\n

A Luxury Suite on Wheels<\/h3>\n

The GV90 Neolun can be equipped with a four-seat Executive Suite<\/strong>, allowing the front passengers to turn around and interact with occupants in the second row.<\/p>\n

The rear cabin includes features focused heavily on comfort, including wood-finished heated floors and heated armrests. A Comfort Partition separates the passenger compartment from the cargo area, creating a more private environment for occupants.<\/p>\n
