This is the new Renault Clio Lutecia Limited Edition, the first special edition version of the fifth-generation Clio in the UK, featuring more standard equipment and some unique styling tweaks.<\/p>\n
External changes compared to the standard Renault Clio include a new diamond black metallic paint job, darker tints on the rear windows, and brass-colored decorative elements on the radiator grille and bumper air vents. It also rides on new 17-inch alloy wheels, which also feature brass details.<\/p>\n
The Lutecia Limited Edition is based on the Clio S Edition in terms of equipment. This means buyers get climate control, interior ambient lighting, and a seven-inch digital instrument cluster. However, Renault has upgraded the car’s specifications by adding a 9.3-inch infotainment screen with satellite navigation.<\/p>\n
Buyers also get active emergency braking, lane-keeping assistance, lane departure warning, and traffic sign recognition. There are also front and rear parking sensors, along with a rearview camera connected to the touchscreen.<\/p>\n
There’s only one engine available in the Clio Lutecia. It’s a 1.0-liter turbocharged three-cylinder petrol unit with 89bhp and 160Nm of torque, sending power to the front wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox.<\/p>\n
The powertrain offers a rather pedestrian 0 to 100 km\/h time of 12.2 seconds. The trade-off is a decent fuel economy figure, which according to Renault is 54.3 mpg on the WLTP combined cycle. Emissions stand at 119g\/km of CO2.<\/p>\n
The Clio Lutecia takes its name from the ancient name of Paris; Lutetia. The name dates back to Roman times and can still be found in some of the city’s most iconic places, such as the Hotel Lutetia in the Saint-Germain-des-Pr\u00e9s area, south of the Seine River.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
