Audi Q5 continues to expand its range, and its latest product is the sporty and high-performance Audi SQ5 TDI.

Audi emphasized the sporty features of this SUV with a sharper design, once again playing the winning card: its turbocharged diesel engine, making this model the first in the S series to utilize diesel engines. Additionally, the 2021 Audi SQ5 TDI is more powerful and eye-catching.

The new Audi SQ5 TDI presents excellent visuals, featuring a large air intake located in the front bumper, which can be used as a frame for the octagonal single-frame grille in an S shape. At the rear, there’s a bumper with a matte aluminum interior leading to the diffuser and four chrome oval exhaust pipes.

The interior design is marked in two colors: black or dark gray, with aluminum inserts on the door sill. The sport seats are available in three interior variants. In terms of technology, the SQ5 features a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster with three display modes (dynamic, sporty, and classic), along with a central 10.1-inch screen with the MIB 3 system.

The driving assistance system of the new Audi SQ5 includes a turn assist system, a collision avoidance system, adaptive cruise control responsible for acceleration, braking, and lane-keeping, and a predictive efficiency assistance system.

The 2021 Audi SQ5 TDI is equipped with a three-liter V6 under the hood, capable of delivering 341 horsepower and 700 Nm of maximum torque, provided between 1,750 and 3,250 rpm. With the quattro system, the unit is paired with an eight-speed Tiptronic gearbox, transmitting power to all four wheels.

Audi opts for dual forced induction in the engine with a turbocharger driven by exhaust gases; this time, the turbocharger has a smaller and lighter turbine, eliminating inertia. It is supported by an electric compressor, derived from mild-hybrid technology.
