Ford has unveiled the E-Transit, a 100% electric version of its popular van, boasting a range of 350 kilometers and offering up to 25 different configurations.
Following the plug-in hybrid model, Ford is taking a new step toward electrification, investing $11.5 billion in the E-Transit for 2022. It comes equipped with a motor delivering a maximum power of 198 kW (269 hp) and a torque of 430 Nm, transmitting power to the rear wheels.
The motor is powered by a 67 kWh battery, estimated to achieve a cruising range of 350 km in the WLTP combined cycle. According to the brand, this range is “sufficient to cover daily needs” in urban delivery tasks.
