It’s been a year since the U.S.-based car modification specialist, Hennessey Performance, unveiled its spectacular three-axle off-road vehicle based on a Mercedes-Benz G 63. This time, they’ve done it again with a 2018 Ford Raptor, naming it the Hennessey VelociRaptor 6×6.
This impressive VelociRaptor 6×6 will go into production, with only 50 units set to be manufactured. According to the manufacturer, they can be purchased through Hennessey and select official Ford dealerships in the United States, priced at $349,000.
Essentially, the Texas-based company transformed the 2018 Raptor into a six-wheeled beast with two rear axles with locking differentials, a properly upgraded suspension, 20-inch wheels with off-road tires, a special bumper, roll bar, and LED lighting, among other features.
Like the stock models, the vehicle is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost engine with 450 horsepower. Customers can opt for a twin-turbo kit, pushing the power output beyond 600 horsepower if desired.
