Leaks and high-speed chases, runovers, explosions, and modified engines… these are just some of the astonishing things we are accustomed to seeing in our favorite Netflix movies and series.

Naturally, all these are factors that would seriously impact insurance premiums, so, how much would it really cost to insure them in real life?

The Fleetcover expert team gathered and assigned a risk rating to each risk factor, with five being the highest risk and one the lowest. These combined scores determined the stunning annual premium estimates for each vehicle. Take a look at some of the results below:

  1. Chevrolet K5 Blazer of Chief Jim Hopper in Stranger Things.
    • Annual premium: $354,378.
    • This dazzling premium is largely due to Jim’s profession as Chief of Police: he has been involved in all kinds of situations!
  2. Rolls Royce Phantom VI of the Queen, The Crown.
    • Annual premium: $41,775.
    • This Rolls Royce Phantom VI is valued at approximately 2 million dollars, greatly increasing the premium. There are also a couple of modifications: the enormous windows and elevated seats are expensive to replace.
  3. Aston Martin DB6 Volante of Prince Charles, The Crown.
    • Annual premium: $262,189.
    • Again, the car model has a risk rating of 5/5 because it is a high-end model, and his profession carries a high risk. This car is modified to run on wine instead of gasoline (yes, really), which entails numerous risks itself!
  4. Chevrolet Corvette C1 of Lucifer, Lucifer.
    • Annual premium: $177,155.
    • As a member of the Los Angeles Police Department, owner of the Lux nightclub, and ruler of hell, he gets a risk rating of 5/5. The car explosions seen in season 3 also contribute to this high premium.
  5. Dodge Polara 1960 of Klaus, Umbrella Academy.
    • Annual premium: $141,775.
    • Klaus is no stranger to speeding, so his risk factor increases significantly. Also, being a superhero naturally gives him a huge risk of 5/5.
