Nueva generación Lexus NX

For a few years now, the Japanese manufacturer Lexus has evolved its premium vehicle lineup by focusing on its commitment to hybridization and electrification, technologies available across its range of vehicles.

Recently, the Japanese company has released the first teaser of what will be its new Lexus NX, one of its most successful vehicles in recent years, promising many surprises.

The NX is a veteran model in the Lexus lineup: introduced in 2013, it went into production a year later. It is a midsize SUV with over 7 years in the market, and despite being refreshed in 2017, the passage of time began to make itself evident both technically and aesthetically. Thus, Lexus has decided to develop a much more ambitious second generation of the Lexus NX, with a new design and top-notch technological features, positioning it as a direct competitor to models like the BMW X3 or the Audi Q5.

This second generation of the Lexus NX will be officially unveiled on June 12, and the only image released so far is of its rear, showcasing LED lighting clusters with a more modern appearance. Additionally, the distinctive Lexus logo (at least from what we have seen) has disappeared to make room for the brand name, now in letters. This marks the first production Lexus to adopt this new brand image, which we had the opportunity to see in a conceptual form in the Lexus LF-Z, an electric super-SUV representing the future of the Japanese brand.

As for technical specifications, Lexus has not yet revealed any information.
