Bentley Continental GT Speed 2021

Bentley is pushing the Continental GT into supercar territory with the power of a 6.0-liter W12 twin-turbo engine, generating 484 kW of power and 900 Nm, allowing for acceleration from 0-100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds and a dizzying top speed of 335 km/h.

To put that in perspective, it’s roughly as fast as a rear-wheel-drive Lamborghini Huracan.

Bentley has installed an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission in the GT Speed to extract the maximum possible performance. Each shift is twice as fast as in the normal W12 model, according to the company.

To get the large coupe up and moving, Bentley has incorporated its active all-wheel-drive system aiming to make the car more dynamic. In “Comfort” mode, grip is balanced between the front and rear. In ‘Sport,’ the torque distribution is more biased towards the rear.

To help slow it down, Bentley has given customers the option to install carbon-ceramic brakes and massive 10-piston calipers at the front.

The GT Speed also features the all-wheel steering system for greater agility. At low speeds, the rear wheels turn opposite to the front ones. At higher speeds, both the front and rear wheels turn in the same direction to aid stability.

The luxury coupe also comes with an electronic limited-slip differential and Bentley’s Dynamic Ride for the utmost sporting style. Dynamic Ride is a 48V system with electric motors within the stabilizer bars to resist body roll.

Bentley’s three-chamber active air suspension is standard on the GT Speed.

Inside, the Bentley Continental GT Speed is as luxurious as its exterior, with leather or Alcantara options available for the finish and availability in 15 colors.

Prices and specifications are yet to be announced.
