SEAT announced today that it will launch an urban electric vehicle in 2025. The production plant for this vehicle will be revealed in the coming months.

The Spanish company aims not only to manufacture electric vehicles but also to lead the development of the entire project for the Volkswagen Group. According to statements to the press, “We believe it is part of our responsibility to electrify Spain. Seventy years ago, we put this country on wheels. Our goal now is to put Spain on electric wheels.”

The urban electric car will be added to SEAT’s product range in 2025 and is a significant project in terms of potential volume. It represents a major milestone on the path to sustainability and the fight against climate change, intending to become the driving force behind the transformation of the Spanish automotive industry.
