The UK-based company Lunaz, specializing in converting classic models into electric vehicles, has created the “world’s first classic electric Bentley.” It is the 1961 Bentley S3 Continental Flying Spur.
Lunaz restores these classic cars by stripping them down to their essence, conducting 3D scans, and installing their patented electric powertrain. Finally, they reconstruct the vehicle by hand, with any aesthetic modifications limited to the customer’s requested paint.
Despite its classic appearance, this Bentley Continental is equipped with all the modern conveniences, including air conditioning, heating, Wi-Fi, information and entertainment systems, satellite navigation, and Apple Car Play.
The cost of this conversion is approximately £350,000 (around $484,000).
