The roadmap of the German brand BMW will include an even more luxurious and exclusive electric sedan than its predecessor, the BMW i4, which is expected to be named i7.
So far, BMW has not revealed any technical specifications for its new electric sedan, the BMW i7, although three possible versions are contemplated based on the type of battery it may incorporate, with capacities of 80, 100, and up to 120 kWh. For the latter, there is speculation that it could provide a range of around 700 km, a noteworthy figure for a purely electric sedan of large dimensions and significant weight.
Regarding power, unofficial sources point to two versions: one with around 550 hp and the more powerful one with about 650 hp. In terms of equipment, it is expected that the future BMW i7 will incorporate the latest innovations from the brand in terms of comfort, luxury, exclusivity, and safety.
According to leaked spy images on various specialized motor portals, everything indicates that BMW has been immersed in the technical development and fine-tuning of the unprecedented i7. The model could be launched in 2022, and its commercialization should begin in late 2022 or early 2023.
