The Refidomsa Foundation has reaffirmed its commitment to social inclusion and the well-being of vulnerable families by signing a collaboration agreement with the Nido para Ángeles Foundation, an organization dedicated to providing comprehensive support for children living with cerebral palsy and their families.
Thanks to this partnership, dozens of children will continue to have access to therapies, specialized care, and essential resources for their development during the 2026-2027 school period.
The agreement was signed by Samuel Pereyra, president of the Refidomsa Foundation, and Mónika Despradel, legal representative of Nido para Ángeles. Also present at the event were Noelia García de Pereyra, board member of the Refidomsa Foundation, and Sabrina Andújar, the organization’s executive director.
As part of the agreement, the Refidomsa Foundation will invest RD$1,600,000, which will be allocated to a specialized transportation program and the acquisition of medical and therapeutic supplies for 30 children with cerebral palsy whose families face financial difficulties.
The initiative aims to remove barriers that limit access to healthcare, education, and rehabilitation services, allowing beneficiaries to continue their therapeutic processes without interruption.
During the signing ceremony, Samuel Pereyra highlighted the importance of promoting projects that create a positive impact on communities and foster the inclusion of vulnerable groups.
According to Pereyra, supporting programs focused on children provides an opportunity to improve living conditions and expand development opportunities for those facing greater challenges.
For her part, Mónika Despradel expressed gratitude for the support provided by the Refidomsa Foundation and stated that this contribution will strengthen the services available to the children while providing greater support to their families.
The program will benefit children who require ongoing care, specialized therapies, and continuous assistance to improve their quality of life. In addition to medical and therapeutic support, transportation assistance will help ensure the continuity of treatments throughout the school year.
