The Dominican Republic’s luxury vehicle market has a new addition with the arrival of the Infiniti QX65, an SUV that combines sporty styling, Japanese sophistication and advanced technology. The model was officially introduced by Santo Domingo Motors at an exclusive event held under the concept The Listening Room, an immersive experience designed to showcase the vehicle’s distinctive features and design.

The QX65 expands Infiniti’s lineup in the Dominican Republic, reinforcing the brand’s presence in the premium automotive segment with a vehicle aimed at drivers seeking the practicality of an SUV with a more dynamic and elegant appearance. The model arrives in the fully equipped Autograph trim, priced at US$84,900.

Infiniti QX65 combines sporty styling with Japanese design

One of the defining features of the new Infiniti QX65 is its fastback silhouette, characterized by a sloping roofline that creates a more athletic profile without sacrificing the elegance associated with the brand. The design is intended to appeal to buyers looking for a luxury vehicle with a sportier appearance than a traditional SUV.

Inside, the QX65 emphasizes craftsmanship and comfort. Its cabin features details inspired by the traditional Japanese kimono, genuine leather upholstery and front seats with massage functionality. Customizable ambient lighting, enhanced sound insulation and a high-speed wireless charging system further contribute to the premium interior experience.

Advanced technology and driver assistance features

Technology is another key element of the new model. The Infiniti QX65 incorporates the Infiniti ProPILOT Assist driver-assistance system, which combines several features designed to support the driver and enhance convenience during city driving and highway journeys.

According to the announced specifications, these features include lane-keeping assistance, blind-spot warning, emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, rear cross-traffic alert and pedestrian detection. The technologies are designed to help drivers manage different road conditions, although they do not replace the need for constant attention and control behind the wheel.

Santo Domingo Motors expands its Infiniti lineup

The official presentation brought together senior Santo Domingo Motors executives, including company president Aníbal Rodríguez; board member Alexis Anselin; commercial director Rodolfo Revanales; and luxury division manager Pedro Ruíz.

The launch forms part of Infiniti’s broader expansion in the Dominican Republic, where the brand offers vehicles aimed at different needs within the luxury market.

The local lineup also includes the Infiniti QX60, an updated SUV designed for buyers seeking greater family versatility. Available in Luxe and Sensory trims, the QX60 starts at US$83,900.

At the top of the range is the Infiniti QX80, a larger luxury SUV offering seating for seven or eight passengers. Its price is US$149,900, positioning it above the QX65 and QX60 in the brand’s local portfolio.

Infiniti QX65 price and availability in the Dominican Republic

The new Infiniti QX65 is already available in the Dominican market, while Santo Domingo Motors is accepting reservations for upcoming deliveries. The company also provides after-sales support for the brand’s vehicles, including maintenance, spare parts and a warranty covering four years or 100,000 kilometers, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.

Priced at US$84,900 for the Autograph trim, the QX65 enters a competitive segment in which design, interior comfort, technology and equipment are important considerations for buyers. Its market performance will help determine how Dominican consumers respond to its combination of Japanese luxury and sporty styling.
