The pandemic caused by the coronavirus has forced many people to adapt to developing their professions in a new reality dominated by the digital realm. A notable example is Nalley, a Mexican teacher.

In the Mexican city of Aguascalientes, numerous families lack the necessary resources to continue receiving distance education because they do not have internet access at home. For this reason, the teacher decided to personally visit the homes of her students to conduct classes in the back of her van, where she set up a table and chairs.

When Nissan learned about the work this teacher was doing, they wanted to help her by giving her a unit of the Nissan NP300, a pickup truck launched in Mexico at the end of 2020. They converted the cargo area into a classroom.

To adapt it, they installed a side curtain and a rear door, along with retractable stairs for easy access for both the teacher and her students. The classroom is equipped with various electrical connections, a table, and foldable chairs to maximize space, as well as a cabinet for storing necessary teaching materials. Additionally, the workspace is divided by an acrylic screen to prevent contagion and maintain social distancing.
